We were excited\u00a0to see a lot of women at\u00a0our mountain biking ride with 718 Cyclery\u00a0last week<\/a>. While the entire group was supportive of all levels of bikers, we were happy to hear about a few on-and-off trail organizations that focused on female bikers specifically.\u00a0Check out the resources we were recommended below.<\/p>\n

Dirt Rock n\u00a0Root Training<\/strong>
\nIf you want to hone your MTB\u00a0skills, take a clinic or private lesson with Dirt Rock n Root<\/a>\u00a0at the Mountain Creek Bike Park<\/a> in Vernon, NJ. DRRT’s mission is to empower women through mountain biking and create a community of female riders. Their instruction focuses on skills and can accommodate all levels of mountain bikers.<\/p>\n

Grit Clinics<\/strong>
\nGrit hosts women’s mountain biking clinics around the country. 2021 clinic dates and locations will be announced in January, but private lessons\u00a0with a Grit coach located nearby are always available. Clinics and lessons are tailored to the biker’s experience\u00a0but time is split between skills practice and trail rides.<\/p>\n

We BikeNYC
\n<\/strong>We can\u2019t wait to bike with\u00a0We Bike NYC<\/a>\u2014a women\u2019s biking group that hosts themed rides around the city (last week they hosted a Holiday Lights ride which took\u00a0bikers through Dyker Heights).
