Mappy Hour DET<\/strong>ROIT is here!<\/p>\n

September 28th- a crew of Detroitians met to learn about ice climbing in Michigan. Garrett Peabody<\/a> of Peabody Ice Climbing<\/a> shared his epic ice climbing adventure in the mountains of Africa…..yes, AFRICA! Garrett taught the crew a ton about adventuring in Michigan and it turns out- there is world class ice climbing along Lake Superior. Many adrenaline seekers love the area because you can ice climb above the water- which adds a whole other element to the thrill of the sport.
\nWe were lucky enough to enjoy a slide show put together by Garrett at the beautiful Collective at True North<\/a>– complete with blankets and brews.
