Our First Queens Mappy Hour Takes on the Borough"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve had Mappy Hours in Manhattan, Brooklyn, D.C. and even Salt Lake City &#8211; and now we&#8217;re heading to Long Island City for our first Mappy Hour in Queens at\u00a0The Local (which is easily accessible by the E, G, M and 7 trains).<\/p>\n<p>The theme for the night is &#8220;The Nuances of Climbing Guidebooks&#8221; and we&#8217;ll be learning from local experts Eli &amp; Bill of the Cliffs at Long Island City. If you climb outdoors or plan on climbing outdoors in the future &#8211; reading a guidebook is an important skill to have.
