We didn&#8217;t have speakers or themes at the beginning, just a requirement to gain admission through a map and a six pack. The event filled up to capacity (with a waitlist) and even the <a href=\"https:\/\/cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com\/2014\/03\/10\/new-york-today-spending-those-daylight-savings\/\">NY Times City Room Blog<\/a>\u00a0was excited about it! Here are a few of the highlights. Over the past four years, over<strong> 6,000<\/strong> people have attended a Mappy Hour!<\/p>\n<p><b>Local Leadership Growing Local Communities<\/b><\/p>\n<p>As Mappy Hour expanded beyond New York City, new leaders emerged who have defined a vision and started growing robust communities in their own cities.
