Description

One of the things I love about the outdoor community is the desire to always “share the stoke.” Outdoor enthusiasts love to tell a good story and jump at the opportunity to take someone that has never been in the outdoors on some rad/crazy adventure. It kind of went that way for my first time in the outdoors. My climbing partner Tom couldn’t wait to drag me up a 14ner on what was virtually my first time backpacking an in the outdoors. When I first got into the outdoors, I honestly thought I would go on adventures and maybe have a few stories to tell. What I didn’t know is how much fun I would have and how much the outdoors would teach me about myself, others and the world around me. I think that is part of the reason we as outdoor enthusiast love to share the stoke. We love to take people outdoors in hopes that they would experience what we experience. We recognized how much fun we can have while also bettering ourselves at the same time.

This month we are featuring a group of individuals that are all about sharing the stoke. Beyond Boundaries, a local non-profit based here in Richmond specializes in taking people with and without disabilities on outdoor adventures. They will be discussing their amazing project with us and letting us know how we can get involved and support their mission.
Come out to Triple Crossing Brewing (Fulton) and hang out with us! Meet new partners, plan new adventures, and enjoy a beer!
