Do you live in the city and LOVE the outdoors? Join Durham Mappy Hour to meet likeminded people and plan your next adventure!
What's Mappy Hour, you ask? Mappy Hour is a happy hour for city dwellers who love the outdoors. Want to learn how to kayak? You're sure to meet someone who's out on the water every weekend. Planning your first backpacking trip? There's definitely someone drinking a beer next to you who's hiked the AT.
At THIS Mappy Hour--
Local canoe and kayak adventure company Frog Hollow Outdoors brings water sports to land for one night only! Come out to learn about the many paddling opportunities and locations around the Triangle (there will be maps). Hop in a kayak, test your paddling skills on dry land, learn about the variety of kayak styles and designs and their best uses.
BONUS - Some lucky Mappy Hour attendees will get a gift certificate for 50% off any of Frog Hollow's self guided trips!
Where: Fullsteam Brewery - on the lawn
When: 6:30 - whenever your arms get tired of fake paddling
How: RSVP
