Join us on Thursday, February 27 for a lively discussion about adaptive sports and the diverse ways in which we all embark on new adventures. Representatives from Achilles International and the Metro Washington Association of Blind Athletes will share how we can get involved in sports like running, hiking, tandem cycling, and kayaking with a twist.

Achilles is a national organization focused on empowering athletes with disabilities through the sport of running. The Metro Washington Association of Blind Athletes offers a variety of sporting opportunities for blind and low vision communities. We'll hear from athletes including three-time marathoner Angie Moran and learn more about how these organizations can collaborate with the Mappy Hour community to share in our mutual enthusiasm for outdoor adventures.
