Description

Chicago’s forest preserves, trails, and green spaces are just a train (or bus or Divvy bike ride) away.

In this virtual event, we’ll sit down with Chicago Transit Hikes author Lindsay Welbers for beta on how to explore Chicago’s robust network of forest preserves, hike and bike trails, and natural spaces by way of public transit. Adrian Laurenzi, founder of outdoor trip planning app TOTAGO, also joins the discussion for tips on how to plan transit-focused outdoor travel, all from your phone.

Join our live-stream discussion for:
• A refresh on Chicago’s public transit (Metra, “L”, Divvy, CTA bus)
• 6 transit to trail trips you can take from downtown Chicago
• Q&A with Chicago Transit Hikes author, Lindsay Welbers
