Mappy Hour Seattle members are invited to volunteer at Gigantic Bicycle Festival in Snoqualmie, WA on August 12-13 2022.

Volunteers receive a free weekend wristband, camping pass, meal voucher, drink ticket, and free registration for any bicycle race next year.

Q. What is Gigantic Bicycle Festival?
A. Gigantic is the Pacific Northwest’s annual summer celebration of bicycle culture. The multi-day summer festival features a diverse, multi-faceted and regionally representative mix of live music, hand-built bicycles, visual & performance art, film, story-tellers, guest speakers, workshops, interactive installation, cyclocross, guided cycle tours, and supported bike rides.

Q. What does the event look like in 2022?
A. The event is a Friday through Saturday this year. We're back to having a main music stage with national and local bands. There's camping Friday night, the Inky Spokes bike art gallery open both days, and the Gigantic Century, 50 Mile, and 20 Mile Saturday morning. There will be a beverage garden, food trucks and drink vendors Friday and Saturday.

Q. Where does the event take place?
A. The Gigantic Festival Grounds is at Centennial Fields Park, 39903 SE Park St, Snoqualmie, WA 98065. All bike rides begin and end at the park. Field camping is next door at the Meadowbrook Farm Preserve.

Volunteer help is needed at:

  • The Gigantic Bicycle Festival Grounds Friday through Saturday in Snoqualmie, WA
  • Along the route as support drivers and support bikers on Saturday
  • Rest stops along the route in Carnation, Redmond, Duvall, and North Bend, WA

Volunteers get free admission to the entire weekend with a camp site for the current year, and free rider registration for the following year.

Your registration fee and camping pass are waived.

You are also welcome to a weekend festival & camping pass if you aren't planning on riding the Century, 50 Mile, or 20 mile. Just send us an email and we'll get you added to will-call for the festival weekend.

Where's the festival grounds?

Where do I park?
Friday setup, between the hours of 8am and 5pm: Park at Centennial Fields Park parking lot.
Friday evening, after 5pm: Park at the Meadowbrook Farms Field.
Saturday: Park at the Meadowbrook Farms Field.

What do I do when I first get there?
Give yourself 15-30 minutes between getting there and the start of your volunteer shift. Head for the East entrance of Centennial Fields Park. Just inside the gates you’ll find the festival First Aid Station, and Volunteer Headquarters right next to each other. Say hi to the festival staff at the Volunteer Headquarters.

What do I eat?
Volunteers get a meal ticket, good to use for one meal at any of the festival food trucks, and a drink ticket good to use at the Beverage Garden. There are food trucks Friday from 5pm into the evening, and Saturday from 11am until 5pm.

Where do I stay?
There’s free tent or car/RV camping for volunteers at Meadowbrook Farms right next to the festival grounds. Let us know if you have any questions about the camp grounds.

Mappy Hour volunteers will have an exclusive campsite, and we will coordinate volunteer carpools and camping gear for those interested.
