What is Dragon Boat Racing:

Dragon Boat Racing is a thrilling water sport that originated from the ancient legend of Qu Yuan, a Chinese poet and statesman. In the ultimate act of protest, Qu Yuan jumped into the Mei Lo River around 278 B.C. Local fishermen quickly paddled their boats and thrashed the water to scare away the fish from consuming his body. This act of thrashing the water has now evolved into the sport of Dragon Boat Racing, which honors Qu Yuan's sacrifice.

Don't worry if you can't make it to the Dragon Boat Festival, as we have more exciting activities lined up for you this upcoming season. Join us for Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUPs), Kayaking/Fishing, and even Sculling.
