Description

We're heading to Burnham Wildlife Corridor with The North Face to hike through a hidden gem in Chicago's urban nature.

Join us for a 2.5 and/or ~5 mile hike through the urban wilderness Burnham Nature Sanctuary Trail and Lakefront path. We'll end our hike back where we started for drinks, snacks, and relaxing under the shade of the trees on the water.

The North Face will provide trail shoe demos – we'll gear up before the hike!

• Hike 1: 2.5 mile out-and-back on woodchip path along the tree-engulfed Burnham Wildlife Corridor
• Hike 2: ~2-mile out-and-back hike to the La Ronda Parakata Gathering Space for an amazing view of the city skyline.

Event Agenda

• 10 AM – Meet at the Burnham Nature Park parking lot
• 10:15 AM – 2.5-mile (~1 hour) out-and-back hike along Burnham Nature Sanctuary trail
• 11:15 AM – Drinks and snacks on the Lakefront
• 11:50 AM – The North Face gear raffle (free for all participants)
• Noon – (Optional) 2-mile hike (~1 hour) to the La Ronda Parakata Gathering Space

Post-hike we'll also do a giveaway for TONS of gear from The North Face – from backpacks and hats to sling bags.
