Experience trail in a new way with The North Face and Mappy Hour: Join us in Mount Blue Sky - only an hour from Denver - exploring alpine lakes, astounding views, wildflowers in bloom, backcountry cooking, and community.

This trip to Chicago Lakes and Summit Lake involves the following:

• Back­pack­ing with loads of 20 – 40lbs
• Overnight camp­ing on the mountain at high elevations
• Hikers should be in good phys­i­cal condition
• ~ 11 miles
• ~ 4,000ft of elevation gain (it's steep!)
• 2-days, 1-night

Please note: This route is considered challenging. It is recommended that you have at least 2-nights of previous wilderness camping and backpacking experience as this is not a commercial event. We will navigate high elevation, primitive camping, and possible inclement weather conditions (e.g. afternoon thunderstorms) above the treeline.
