Paragon Sports (Second Floor)

Description

How do we balance living in the 'concrete jungle' and staying connected with nature? One of our favorite ways of connecting more deeply with the outdoors when we don't have time for a full multi-day backpacking trip is by exploring nature and mindfulness through forest bathing. This practice of nature meditation is an amazing way to connect with our local green spaces and other nature lovers in NYC.

On Saturday, August 24th we'll be diving into a sensory experience in our backyard! Join us in Madison Square Park with Angelica Olstad, founder of Pop Up Yoga NYC & Music for Healing. Angelica will help us connect with ourselves and nature in the middle of a city of 8 million.

We'll start and end at Paragon Sports where we'll have the opportunity to demo The North Face shoes for the walk, learn more about the practice and science behind forest bathing, and enjoy some delicious drinks, snacks and great company.

Schedule
10:45AM: Paragon Sports opens, come on over for a coffee and to check-in on the 2nd floor
11:00AM: Short walk to Madison Square Park and forest bathing experience
12:00PM: Return to Paragon for beverages, sandwiches and swag

Afterwards, a group of us will head over to The North Face's Climb Festival at Brooklyn Bridge Park.
