Tuesday, February 7, 2017From 7:00 pm to 9:00 pmDescription
**NOTE: This event is now on Tuesday February 7th***
This year for Black History Month we're going back (wayyy back) and then forward to learn about the black trailblazers of the past and future. We're starting off the night learning the history of American badass James Beckwourth and playing with maps to find his trail. Then we'll move into the present in NYC, with a panel moderated by the one and only Kareemah Batts (Founder of the Adaptive Climbing Group, Director of the Brooklyn Boulders Foundation and national advocate for diversity and inclusion) to explore the leaders are making history here and now.
Note: this event will be recorded and everyone will be asked to sign a release before entering the tents.
