Description

Known for its blue blazes, the Buckeye Trail extends to every corner of Ohio and beyond to Vermont and North Dakota as it connects to the North Country Trail. Locally, the trail runs through Cuyahoga and Lake County, as well as Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

Randall Roberts is a Trustee of the Crooked River Chapter of the Buckeye Trail Association, a nonprofit dedicated to the growth and care of the trail system. He’ll be speaking about the history and evolution of the Buckeye Trail and exciting ways to experience the system and get involved.

Mappy Hour is a nationwide movement to bring adventure-loving city-dwellers together and get outside. Want to learn how to kayak? You're sure to meet someone who's out on the water every weekend. Planning your first backpacking trip? There's might be someone drinking a beer next to you who's hiked the AT.
Seasoned pros and beginners alike are welcome to come, bring some maps, have a beer, and share stories. You'll be making plans to hit the trails in no time.
