Skills Series: Intro to Bushcraft
About
Full datetime event:
Wednesday, February 6, 2019From 7:00 pm to 9:00 pmDescription
At the Mappy Hour town hall earlier this month we heard one thing loud and clear - New Yorkers want to learn more backcountry and survival skills. Luckily, FreeStone Expeditions Greg Wilson is helping us create an entire series filled with bushcraft, campcraft, and survival skills.
We'll learn about building shelters, tying knots, sharpening knives, navigation, cooking and so much more.
This registration is for the February 6th Intro to Bushcraft. You can find other registrations:
March 6: https://mappyhour.org/events/2019/03/skill-series-water-backcountry

April 10: https://mappyhour.org/events/2019/04/skill-series-knives-and-edge-tools
These will be hands on classes and restricted to a maximum of twenty people so come for a more personalized experience with a group of curious (and tactile) outdoor enthusiasts.
The series is hosted by our friends at Mighty Hatchet / 718 Cyclery.
Note: no door tickets, no waitlist. Here is another class for everyone who missed this: https://mappyhour.org/events/2019/03/intro-bushcraft-repeat
