Ever had a close call on the trail? Come face to face with a dangerous critter? Been caught in an unexpected downpour while trying to set up camp? We've all have mishaps, disasters, danger, and sketchy moments that color our adventures and journeys, and we want to hear about yours! Mappy Hour Cleveland is teaming up with Keep Talking: a Storytelling Show for an evening of scary stories.

Created in 2014 by hosts Adam Richard and Zachariah Durr, Keep Talking has brought a diverse mix of new and experienced storytellers to share true stories every month at the Happy Dog in Cleveland's Gordon Square Arts District and now they're coming to the Backpackers Shop to hear yours! Think you have something? This is an open call for submissions - find out how you can get involved below.

Beer will be generously provided by Platform Beer Co. and Backpacker Shop will be providing a s'mores bar.
After we hear from storytellers, the Backpacker Shop will open their back yard to overnight camping. Bring your own tent and sleeping gear, and we'll keep the fire hot. Hang out for a while, or hang out all night!

"SCARY" STORY SUBMISSION PROCESS
Keep Talking: A Storytelling Show wants YOU to share your unnerving outdoor experience! Stories can be funny, embarrassing, shocking, or anything in between...they just have be true and must have happened to you! If you think you have story to share (and you probably do!), submit a summary of your story with your beginning, middle, and end to KeepTalkingCLE@gmail.com.
