This August, Mappy Hour is going back to school -- outdoor school, that is.

Expert instructors from REI's Outdoor School will lead short clinics on three crucial (we think!) wilderness skills: water treatment, knot tying, and camp coffee. Whether you're a seasoned backpacker or a first-time car camper, you'll walk away with a new skill or tool to enhance your next trip.

Beer's on you this time, but we'll have a sweet raffle -- including a few free entries to Outessafest! -- thanks to REI and we promise great conversation and community.
