Description

Julia Kuo is a Taiwanese-American illustrator who has worked with the New York Times, Google, and Science Friday. She has also been an artist-in-resident with Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity (https://juliakuo.com/banff-national-park), co-created "The Curious Artist: Drawing Trees and Leaves" (https://juliakuo.com/the-curious-artist), and, most recently, illustrated "Heroism Begins with Her" (https://juliakuo.com/heroism-begins-with-her).
She'll be talking through her process for landscape, travel, and nature sketching and we'll take some time to practice. Bring your favorite sketchbook and pens, or we'll have some for you to use.
