Description

As the temperature drops, it's easy to want to pull on a chunky knit sweater and curl up indoors. Yet, the quiet and beauty of late fall and winter in the woods is hard to beat, especially in a place like NYC, where the trails can get pretty dang congested in the summer.

Tonight, join us at The North Face Prototype Store in Williamsburg to:

  1. Hear from NYC State Licensed Guide Brad Winer about best practices and tips and tricks for four season hiking. He'll also be sharing a few of his favorite winter spots to check out.

  2. Be some of the very first people to actually demo the North Face's brand new FUTURELIGHT Technology at the Tech Trailer in the outside lot of the store, which promises to be the future of Outdoor Waterproof / Breathable in all performance based outerwear (for all seasons, of course!)

  3. Also be some of the first people to actually try Sierra Nevada's brand new brew the SKIESTA (part ski-beer and all fiesta.) Note: there will be limited quantities, so come on time if you want to get your hands on this specific brew.

P.S. Please bring your favorite local maps to share your winter hiking spots!
