Fly Fishing Northeast Ohio
About
Full datetime event:
Wednesday, September 26, 2018From 6:00 pm to 7:30 pmDescription
With dozens of waterways and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources's trout stocking program, NEO is teeming with opportunities for beginners and longtime anglers to get out there. This month, local angler Jim Mucci will be discussing how to get started in Fly Fishing with tips on gear, skills, and local spots.
Our friends at Bells Brewery will also be doing a tap takeover, serving up Two Hearted Ale and Lager of the Lakes, and giving away swag. As always, we will have maps and resources available for you to browse and take home.
After Mappy Hour, Green Girl Gang will be hosting a meetup of local women and outdoor enthusiasts to keep the conversation going.
Mappy Hour is a nationwide movement to bring adventure-loving city-dwellers together and outside. Want to learn how to kayak? You're sure to meet someone who's out on the water every weekend. Planning your first backpacking trip? There's just might be someone who's hiked the AT drinking a beer next to you. Seasoned pros and beginners alike are welcome to come, bring some maps, have a beer, and share stories. You'll be making plans to hit the trails in no time.
