Description
Colorado hiking like no other! Nolan's 14 consists of climbing, hiking, running fourteen 14,000 foot mountains in Colorado's Sawatch Range in one foot-powered push of less than 60 hours. The exact route is open, but distance is about 90+ miles and elevation gain is around 44,000'. Only those who are fit and experienced in the mountains have succeeded.
On September 12th, Andrea Sansone awed the outdoor community by setting the new supported fastest known time. Andrea completed the challenge in a time of 45 hours and 52 minutes, shaving almost three hours off Sabrina Stanley’s 2020 record of 48 hours and 49 minutes.
On route she was supported by her partner, Andrew Hamilton, who holds the male's second fastest known time in the unsupported category. Andrew has also summited all 58 Colorado 14ers in 9 days 21 hours and 51 minutes, along with successfully being the first person to climb all 58 Colorado14ers in a single winter.
Join Andrea, Andrew and Mappy Hour on October 18th to hear the fastest known time story firsthand and to celebrate this amazing feat.
This FREE event includes a raffle ticket. Donations are always encouraged to keep the Denver Mappy Hour community going strong.
