Description

Come celebrate our first year back after lockdowns with a party at Arc'teryx DC! This year's been all about tackling new challenges, self-discovery, and just plain getting used to being back out there together.

As if that wasn't a good enough reason to swing by, we'll be doing a gear raffle! The prizes will range from the small to the useful to the curious. There may even be a piece of Arc'teryx gear in there, courtesy of our hosts.

Pizza, snacks, and beer from our friends at Sierra Nevada will be served. Vegan options will be available, though if you have other specific dietary needs, please email me asap!

Live music will be provided by DC based singer/songwriter, Coby Sultan. Known for his beautiful ballads and intimate acoustic pop songs, Coby discovered a passion for music later in life after a friend in high school guitar class taught him a few basic chords. When he moved to The Netherlands in 2018 to play professional soccer, he spent much of his time off the field writing music in his apartment. In 2020, he released his first single “rocket ship to mars." After 4 years of playing soccer and studying abroad, he now finds himself immersed in music.

Drawing inspiration from artists like James Arthur, James Bay, Phoebe Bridgers, Paul Simon, John Mayer and everyone in between, Coby’s style has a piercingly honest tone based around the comfort of the acoustic music he grew up listening to.
