About
Full datetime event:
Wednesday, December 12, 2018From 6:00 pm to 8:00 pmDescription
This month Mappy Hour is hosting a Giving Circle for the Trust for Public Land's Cleveland-based projects. The Trust for Public Land creates parks and protects land for people, ensuring healthy, livable communities for generations to come. Since 1972, they have protected more than 3.5 million acres, created or renovated nearly 2,000 city parks, playgrounds, and community gardens, and developed another 2,000+ miles of trails.
What's a Giving Circle, you ask?
Our friends at the Trust for Public Land will present on three Cleveland projects:
- Lakeview Terrace Greening Project
- Cleveland Park Study
- Camp Mowana
Then we'll get to vote on our favorite project and all funds collected over the night will go directly to that project. You will be able to purchase tickets (1 for $5, 2 for $8, 3 for $10) that count as one vote per ticket.
**While there is no official cover for the event, we suggest a donation between $10-$20. 100% of your donation will go to the Trust for Public Land! Those who make a donation will be entered into a raffle to win a Cotopaxi Luzon 18L Daypack and a 32oz "crowler" of delicious Terrestrial beer.
