DescriptionJoin us to learn a few new skills for your next wilderness adventure. NOLS will be teaching basic wilderness medicine and risk assessment. If you’re interested in learning how to assess an accident, splint a break or wrap a wound in the backcountry, this is the clinic for you.
A note on the location: We'll be in the heated tents in the backyard. You get there by walking straight back past the bar (on your right) and the bathrooms (on your left).
More about NOLS: The nonprofit global wilderness school seeks to help you step forward boldly as a leader. Anyone can be a leader; NOLS provides the environment and training to help you discover your full potential. Lessons are taught in classrooms close to home and in remote wilderness areas around the world. They’re an organization with heart, expertise, and wildness. These qualities help them support powerful, authentic experiences.
