Description

Did you know that there's 26,000 acre National Park site that goes through New York City? Gateway National Recreational Recreation Area offers acres of quiet to go for a hike, paddle or spot migrating birds and much of it is accessible without a car.

Tonight, we'll be joined by Gateway Park Rangers who will highlight what they do every day to maintain and share this public land. They'll also be providing tips and guidance on where to get outside - for free!

Join us, for a night at Arc'teryx Soho dedicated to the great outdoors of NYC. Thank you Arc'teryx for hosting and Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. for bringing the refreshing brews!

P.S. We'll be going to see the rangers in their natural habitat on Friday (June 12th) with a campfire at the beach: https://mappyhour.org/events/2019/07/field-trip-campfire-fridays-bike-train
