OutdoorFest Announces “Mappy Hour” Event
NEW YORK, New York (March 3, 2014) – Join NYC’s outdoor enthusiasts for the first ever Mappy Hour. Bring a six pack, snacks, maps/guides and your love of the outdoors down to Fjallraven on Greene Street in SoHo on March 10. Join fellow skiers, hikers, backpackers, kayakers, climbers and relax, meet adventure buddies and plan future trips.
OutdoorFest seeks to make the outdoor lifestyle accessible to urban dwellers by providing an environment where we can come together as a community of nature, adventure, and outdoor enthusiasts. Come out and support OutdoorFest and their goal of bringing together the community of outdoor adventurers living in New York. Live in the city, love the outdoors.
Who: Anyone who loves to hike, kayak, ski, surf, climb, and generally explore the great outdoors.
What: A happy hour with a twist to bring together the NYC outdoor community, with great giveaways from Fjallraven and OhRanger!
When: March 10, 7:00PM to 9:00PM
Where: Fjallraven, located on Greene Street in SoHo
Cost: We’re trying something completely new here – what if beer and old guidebooks counted as an entrance fee? That’s right, just bring some beer or snacks and there’s no cover.
