Guests at April’s Mappy Hour YYC were treated to an animated and passionate presentation by Jamie Clarke, CEO & Cofounder of Live Out There, a company that was recently named in Canada’s 50 fastest growing companies by Alberta Venture Magazine.

Jamie’s inspiring speech touched on a range of topics including his life changing adventures that shaped him and his life today to his family life (getting up and biking at 5am with his wife in what they call ‘dawn patrol’), all the while delivered with delightfully humorous and light hearted nature with the undertone of a true outdoor adventure seeker.
The 2 time Mount Everest climber, after leaving us in stitches left us with one short albeit key phrase to live by in life –
‘Don’t settle’.
The moral of Jamie’s speech can apply to us all – to not only have the wherewithal to do something adventurous but to also make every step count while doing it.
