Description

We're heading to the Great Northern Catskills for a fall foliage inspired overnight. This trip is perfect for Catskill 3500 peak baggers and more casual campers alike! Read on for how this could possibly be so...

Saturday: Meet in the Catskills and backpack a short distance in to a backcountry campsite. We'll set up our tents, grab some snacks and then...
Option 1 (Easier): Dayhike up and back to bag one Catskill 3500 peak (3.5 miles total)
Option 2 (Harder): Start with the first peak, then continue on to bag two more Catskill 3500 peaks before returning to camp (7.9 miles total)

Sunday:
Option 1 (Easier): Hike back down to the cars and go chill at a nearby lake (1.3 miles total)
Option 2 (Harder): Hike out and back to a fourth Catskill 3500 peak before rejoining our fellow campers at said nearby lake (7.4 to 8.9 miles total)
