Description

You'd think an established travel writer would have no problems traveling the world. However, for environmental journalist Jeremy Hance the opposite is true; he is a hypochondriac who suffers from OCD and severe anxiety. For him, traveling has always been an anxious activity. Humans weren't meant to fly—at least that's what Jeremy's OCD told him. Then, once he landed safely at his destination, there was a whole slew of pesky unknowns for him to worry about.

Jeremy joins us tonight to talk about mental health, adventuring internationally and his new book Baggage: Confessions of a Globe-Trotting Hypochondriac, where he chronicles his hilarious, heartfelt adventures traveling the globe with severe OCD and anxiety as his trusted companions.
