Description

Looking for an alternative to ski resort crowds? Find out why backcountry skiing is now the fastest growing winter sport and learn where to go and how to break in.

Join author David Goodman, who the Boston Globe calls "the godfather of Northeastern backcountry skiing," as he discusses the 30th anniversary edition of his long awaited book, Best Backcountry Skiing in the Northeast: 50 Classic Ski & Snowboard Tours in New England and New York.

Goodman is also the author of a recent New York Times feature on backcountry skiing.

Goodman will show photos and discuss the backcountry revolution underway throughout the Northeast, as well as share secrets of his personal favorites and answer questions.

You can order a signed copy (!!) of the book here.
