Mappy Hour Seattle is excited to host a winter day hike to the Icicle Ridge Trail Overlook in Leavenworth, WA.

This hike is part of our 4-day Leavenworth Weekender retreat. Our AirBNB is directly across the street from the Icicle Ridge trailhead. Message us if you are looking for a carpool or overnight lodging!

Or meet us at the trailhead at 11am via your own transportation. This hike is about a 2.5 hour drive from Seattle via HWY 2 or I-90.

"Experience this 4.8-mile out-and-back trail near Leavenworth, Washington. Generally considered a challenging route, it takes an average of 3 h 14 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking, horseback riding, and snowshoeing, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are May through October. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash."

BYO hiking gear, snacks, and water. Check forecast and pack weather-appropriate gear in case of rain or cold. Microspikes helpful, but not required.

This is a moderately strenuous hike, so we encourage humans and pets with health issues or physical exertion limitations to sit this one out.

Hikers are welcome to stick around after to explore downtown Leavenworth, ride the new alpine coaster, and grab dinner and drinks with our weekend group.
