Join us this September as we launch a brand new partnership with The North Face with a bouldering launch party for the brand new Explore More Challenge!
We'll be kicking things off on September 24th with professional climber Cedar Wright, who'll join us to lead a bouldering session in Central Park followed by a talk at The North Face's Upper West Side Store.
But that's not all, we'll also be launching the brand new NYC Explore More Challenge. You'll get a listed of 10 adventures in and around the city for you to explore. Finish the challenge and you'll win prizes from The North Face. Be the first person to finish the challenge... you'll get an even bigger prize! From biking to hiking to camping - join us to find out about our 10 favorite local adventures and how you can get outdoors.

Schedule & Details (read this carefully please!)
5:30PM - Meet at Umpire Rock or, as it's often called, "Rat Rock" to climb with Cedar - byo climbing shoes or sneakers
6:45PM Walk over to The North Face Store (2101 Broadway)
7:00PM Mappy Hour begins!
7:30PM: "What is the Explore More Challenge (and how do I win North Face prizes?!)"
8:00PM: Presentation by Cedar Wright
9:30PM: Wrap up and head home

Do I have to register?
Yes, while this event is free, you must register.
Is this a bouldering class?
No, Cedar will be bouldering at Rat Rock and you're invited to join!

Do I need gear?
We'll be bringing bouldering pads. We recommend climbing shoes and chalk.
How is this event free?
The North Face is making this awesome event happen. If you want to pass the karma forward, we recommend donating what you would have paid for a ticket to a local non-profit like the Adaptive Climbing Group (https://www.adaptiveclimbinggroup.org).

ADA ACCESIBILITY NOTE:
The talk at the North Face will take place on the second floor of the store. To access the elevator, please enter through the main entrance of the store on Broadway and speak to the associate at the front of the store. They will escort you to the elevator!
